You may only fill out this application if you have been a member of NSBAR previously and were assigned an ID number. 

Please enter all fields below to accurately apply for reinstatement to the North Shore - Barrington Association Of Realtors®.

NORTH SHORE-BARRINGTON ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® Bylaws, Article IV, Section 11 (c) 
Any former Member, or former applicant previously approved, may be reinstated in the same classification of membership upon recommendation of the Membership Committee and upon approval by the Board of Directors provided said former Member, or applicant, was in good standing at the time of the termination of membership. A reinstatement fee must accompany reinstatement applications.

APPLICATION MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY $100.00 REINSTATEMENT FEE AND PRORATED DUES 
If coming from another Board and have paid State and National dues through your previous Board, fee is NSBAR dues only (reinstatement fees are waived). If you have been out of the association for 3 years or more then you must fill out the new member application and pay those fees

   I hereby declare that I have read the Code of Ethics, the Bylaws of the NORTH SHORE-BARRINGTON ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS ®, and as a member do hereby accept them and agree to abide, uphold and observe them carefully both in spirit and in letter.  

 

Payments to the North Shore-Barrington Association are not deductible as charitable contributions. A portion may, however, be deductible as a ordinary and necessary business expense. We strongly urge you to consult with your tax advisor.

*RPAC, the REALTORS ® Political Action Committee, collects contributions from members and uses those funds to help elect candidates for public office who are supportive of home ownership, private property rights, and the real estate industry. IMPAC, the Issues Mobilization Political Action Committee, collects contributions from members to cover the costs of REALTORS ® involvement in state and local issues that directly affect the real estate industry. Contributions to RPAC and IMPAC are not deductible for Federal income tax purposes. Contributions to RPAC and IMPAC are voluntary and you may refuse to contribute without affecting your membership rights.

75% of your contribution will be allocated to RPAC, and 25% will be allocated to IMPAC. A contribution of $32.00 would result in $24.00 going to RPAC and $8.00 to IMPAC. Of the 75% that is allocated to RPAC, 70% will be used by RPAC of Illinois to support state and local candidates. 27% is sent to National RPAC to support Federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 2 U.S.C 44a*, and the remaining portion is used by the National Association for Federal grassroots political activities.

Copies of reports for IMPAC and RPAC of Illinois are on file and available for purchases from the State Board of Elections, Springfield, Illinois.

Funds will only be sent to National RPAC if the contribution qualifies for use in Federal elections pursuant to Federal election laws.
